Beat your heart out Van Gogh and Da Vinci!

All the children at Afon y Felin Primary have had a fantastic time with resident artist Justine Stroud in creating a humongous and fantastic mosaic for our outdoor entrance. Justine a specialist artist who specialises in large murals and mosaics that can be found in many schools in Wales.

Firstly the children created drawings of landmarks and objects that can be found in and around North Cornelly. Justine then created a plan from the children's designs which can be found below.

Each class then had the opportunity in helping Justine create the wonderful mosaic with beautiful glass pebbles. The final mosaic is now completed and Justine is just adding the final touches and varnish, then it will be adorned in our entrance.
